NFL star Aaron Hernandez charged with murder

23 year old New England Patriot tight end Aaron Hernandez was arrested yesterday Wednesday June 26th at his mansion in Massachusetts in connection with the murder of another player whose body was found near his home. The body of 27 year old former semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd was found on June 17th in an industrial park a mile from Hernandez's house. June 26, 2013 – Davido Arrested For Spending Fake Euro Currency In Budapest Club Omobaba Olowo crooner, singer David Adeleke alias Davido and his elder brother, Adewale Adeleke and his manager were recently arrested for allegedly spending fake currency in a night club in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. We learnt he was caught after using face euro currency to pay for his drinks. Before his arrival in Budapest, he staged a concert in Italy on the 21st of June, 2013. The ground breaking performance where he pulled a Rihanna stunt by showing up late around 5am upset the show organizer, Osariemen Frank who refused to pay him his balance. Supreme Court rules in favor of same sex marriage in California

It's finally happened. If you live in California, you are now free to marry your gay partner as gay marriage has been made legal in the state. The Supreme Court this morning ruled against California's controversial Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in the state. Fat Crime: Rapper Fat Joe guilty of tax evasion, to spend 4 months in prison

Rapper Joseph Cartagena aka Fat Joe will definitely not be ‘leaning back’ anytime soon. The rapper has been sentenced to four months imprisonment for evading tax payment to the federal authorities. Joe Crack came forward to even admit in December 2012 that he had not been paying his taxes. The rapper did the right thing by quickly apologizing to his family and supporters in Newark, New Jersey before being sentenced in a federal court. U.S. Magistrate Cathy Waldor says she took into consideration the government’s allegation that Cartagena failed to taxes on some $3 million in income for years 2007 through 2010, an estimated tax loss to the government of $718,038.

LEDAP condemns today's execution of 4 death row prisoners; Chima Ejiofor, Daniel Nsofor, Osarenmwinda Aiguokhan and Richard Igagu in Edo State despite their pending appeals at the court of appeal. The AG of Edo State and the prison authorities were duly served with the court processes comprising the notice of appeal and motion for stay of execution. Under the Nigerian laws, an appeal and application for stay of execution should restrain further action until the appeal is determined. By executing the prisoners, Nigeria government has demonstrated gross disregard to the rule of law and respect for the judicial process. Read more »
